Group/Center Activities
Participants are encouraged to participate in group-based community, social, and recreational activities that promote socialisation while also providing worker-facilitated and self-directed capacity development activities. All activities are focused on the participants' interests and aims.
Development of Life Skills, such as food shopping, cooking, personal care, gardening, and home duties
Improved Health and Wellbeing - Examples include health and wellness knowledge and education, group exercise activities, walks, swimming, and yoga.
Literacy and numeracy - for example, specialised programmes to fit learning capacity, money management, budgeting, reading and writing abilities
Recreational activities include ten pin bowling, music, dancing, picnics, and arts & crafts.
Library, music works, community events, retail, museum, art gallery, volunteer groups are examples of community access.
